It's Make a Difference Monday again!!!

Woo woo! Y'all ready to get out there and make that difference?

I am!

Here's your assignment for the week: compliment a stranger.

Maybe you see a lady in the grocery store and you love her capris. Or maybe you notice that your server has a fantastic smile. Could be that a customer service rep you're on the phone is friendly and helpful.

I guarantee you (although I have no idea how I'd actually do that) that you will make the person's day! That person will smile and feel all tingly inside because someone took the time to say a kind word.

You never know what kind of day that person might be having. You, just by displaying a bit of grace, could be making a very bad day better.

So go forth, my Delicious Readers! And please, please, please leave a comment about the reactions you see!

This is one of those things that makes me feel better about my missing brain/mouth filter because I constantly compliment strangers. Glasses, hair cuts, shoes, you name it. Today I told the waitress at the coffee shop that she looked like Zooey Deschanel!

I compliment people all the time. It usually earns me an odd, sideways glance as they slowly back away. *shrugs* Maybe people just think everyone that compliments them is a stalker? (Like I have time to stalk any more people! Sheesh!) :)

I compliment people alot - generally because they are wearing/doing something that makes me happy. Last week, I paid for coffee for the person in the car behind me at Dutch Bros. The gal at Dutch Bros. was amazed that someone would do that and then have the remainder put in the tips bucket. Thanks, Kate, for the encouragement!

I went to a store yesterday, and there I saw a lady with a beautiful mane of firey red hair. I complimented her on it, and the look in her eyes told me that I was a bright spot in her erstwhile darkly li day.
